Paying bills is nobody’s idea of fun, so we helped BPAY come up with an enticing way to spread the word about the ease of using their ‘one click payment’ system, and bring to life their Fall In Like campaign.
Talking about bills and finance is often a difficult and taboo topic for people, so we decided the best way to break down this barrier was to get people to have a little fun with it. In partnership Southern Cross Austereo, we created an activation that allowed contestants to say goodbye to their bills, or at least one of them.
The activation was held at World Square Shopping Centre in Sydney and Federation Square in Melbourne, just before tax time, when finance is on everyone’s minds.
The activation topped off a strong awareness campaign through large format OOH and broadcast, as well as targeting people through social, digital and search, and to reinforce our message we followed up with coffee cups and screens in cafes to target people during their daily routine.
