Hugh is responsible for strategy at Ikon. He leads a multi-disciplinary team of brilliant, young strategists in “whole-brain planning” - crafting creative campaigns that are founded in commercial realities.
In the eleven years he spent in New York agencies before arriving at Ikon, he’s worked across CPG, Internet and Technology, Professional Services, and Banking categories on award-winning campaigns for clients such as Dove, Heineken, Dos Equis, Axe/Lynx, adidas, eBay, Accenture, Verizon, Whirlpool and Mazda to name a few.
Irish by birth, blood and bluster, Hugh was educated in Hong Kong, the UK and the US. He earned his MBA at London Business School and Columbia Graduate School of Business in New York. Don’t let the corporate look fool you, though; Hugh’s a northern beaches hippy at heart with a passion for worm farms, organic vegetable gardens, backyard chooks and eventually an apiary.
