Myer is an iconic Australian retailer with the largest number of retail stores nationally, in more than 60 locations. To launch their Spring Summer 2017 range, we wanted to do things a little differently and show that this traditional high street brand could capture people’s attention by embracing innovative digital experiences.
And so, with a first to market, we ran a series of immersive and interactive Canvas ads in Instagram Stories, we engaged Myer’s vibrant and broad female target audience, showcasing inspirational photos and videos of the latest fashion must haves for the season. These ads were designed not only for inspiration, but also encouraged shoppers to click through to the Myer website or visit one of their stores. Over the 6-day period, the campaign exceeded the format launch expectations by delivering significant reach and engagement, as well as more than doubling Myer’s return on ad spend.
